Taking root in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in the early Spring of 2005, we became a new non-profit, charitable organization. We formed with a mission to help "at-risk" women and children. Using information and education, we hope to become a bridge that connects people to those who are in need.

Shirley George, Founding Board Member with Daughters of Sarah International, Inc.

She is at home in Heaven now,  with Jesus.  DOSII could not have been formed had it not been for Shirley.

Shirley said, "God used those years of being married and a stay-at-home mother for the early years, raising two daughters and a son in Lindsay, Oklahoma.  He used them to begin preparing me  to eventually become a part of Daughters of Sarah."

When her children were older, Shirley returned to school and obtained a Bachelors of Social Work, with a minor in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma.  She was blessed with four grandchildren and worked as a Social Worker for over a decade in Mcclain County. When a child was placed in her hands for help, she would not rest until that child was in a safe and secure environment.
