Daughters of Sarah of Oklahoma Founded in February 2005 in the State of Oklahoma as a not for profit, charitable organization, in  August 2005 became Daughters of  Sarah International Incorporated, and was granted 501 (c) (3) status on July 19, 2006.  We formed with a mission to help "at-risk" women and children. Using information and education, we hope to become a bridge that connects people to those who are in need.  

DAUGHTERS OF SARAH OF OKLAHOMA EMBLEM - SWORD THROUGH A ROSE - Our official trademark: a sword through a rose. Many lives are pierced because of abuse and/or neglect. Our desire is to bring healing.  VISION: To be known worldwide for innovative solutions to the needs of "at-risk" women and children - To assist them in becoming responsible, productive, and caring individuals - To be a bridge for like-minded organizations across the world.

Hattie Thompson

Founder and Executive Director

Hattie is the Executive Director of Daughters of Sarah International Inc.  She lives in Yukon, Oklahoma with her husband of over eighteen years.  Hattie has over thirty-five years of work experience, primarily support staff in the medical field.  She is blessed with  two  married sons,  their lovely wives, and three precious grandchildren. She and her husband, Olen partner with several orphaned and needy children in Musita Village Uganda.  She says, "DOSII is my calling."

Connie Ryan

Founding Board Member

Connie lives in Warsaw, Missouri with her husband, of over  twenty-four years, Patrick.  They have five children and over eleven wonderful grandchildren.  She serves alongside Patrick, a pastor at a  Baptist Church in Warsaw, where she is active in church missions.   She has served as co-leader of the VBS for the last two years. She and Pat partner with two orphaned children in Musita Village Uganda.  She spent over  twenty years in the work force in labor, security and management.  Connie says, "I am excited about going forward with DOSII."

Carol Gordon

Representing Agent

Carol is an Ordained Minister,  Bible Teacher and Christian Author and Counselor, was married for forty-six years.   She currently resides in Eastland, Texas.  She has  three children and seven  beloved grandchildren.  She and her late husband founded Heart Menders in 1987.  Find her teachings from her three books, The Child Heart , Marriage Is A Gift, and Tools For Ruling And Reigning in video form with workbooks 

Lorelei Schroyer

Board Member

Lorelei, and her husband Ed, have been married for over 42 years.  They are blessed with three adult married children, nine grandchildren and two  great granddaughters.  They have lived in  Oklahoma, OKC area, for the past 21 years, and been members of the MWC Free Methodist Church for the same.  They recently moved to Holdenville, OK   where they are rebuilding a house to retire in.  There, they attend the Holdenville Church of the Nazarene.  Lorelei and Ed lovingly partner with three orphan children from God’s Hands Daycare Nursery Primary School in Musita Village, Jinja, Uganda.  She says, "I  am excited to be a part of Daughters of Sarah and hope to be a faithful lifelong participant with DOSII and the future of this ministry."
